Youth and Adult Partnerships (YAP)
In collaboration with UCSC, United Way of Santa Cruz County works to collect community data surrounding youth voice and decision-making in organizations via the Youth and Adult Partnerships Survey. This data is then shared to the community through our Youth and Adult Partnerships Summit
YAP SURVEY
The *Youth and Adult Partnerships (YAP) Survey* explored how youth and adults collaborate in Santa Cruz County. The results highlighted both strengths and gaps in youth engagement, particularly in decision-making and leadership opportunities. Youth feel most supported when adults actively listen, provide meaningful opportunities, and demonstrate respect in their interactions.
